Yang Dongjin

Pianist, chamber musician, young piano teacher at Shanghai University Conservatory of Music, Fazioli Piano Global Ambassador, GROTRIAN Piano Artist. He studied in Germany and Austria, and was awarded the Diploma of Piano Master Performer from the Academy of Music and Drama in Munich, Germany, the Diploma of Chamber Music Master Performer from the Academy of Music and Drama in Munich, Germany, the Diploma of Piano Master Performer from the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany, and the Diploma of Piano Master Performer from the University of the Arts in Graz, Austria. She was inspired by her father, Yang Yankai, and her domestic mentors are Professor Leng Jia, famous educator, and Professor Zhao Pingguo, famous educator. Later, she studied in Germany and Austria, and learnt from the world-renowned pianist Margarita Hohenrieder-Dornier, the world-renowned pianist Paul Badura-Skoda, and Martin Hughes, Head of the Piano Department of the State University of Music in Vienna. Prof. Martin Hughes, Head of the Piano Department at the Vienna State University of Music, Prof. Reiner Becker, Head of the Piano Department at the Berlin University of the Arts, Prof. Peter Waas, Head of the Piano Department at the Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar, Prof. Milana Cheryavska, Professor at the University of the Arts in Graz, as well as many times under the supervision of Mr. Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, the renowned piano teacher in Israel, and Mr. Kämmerling. He has also received many lessons from the famous German piano pedagogue Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, the famous Israeli piano pedagogue Arie Vardi, the world famous piano virtuoso Andras Schiff and Professor Ferenc Rados.
Mr Yang has been a piano player and music social teacher for many years, travelling all over the world, including Germany, Austria, Italy and China. He has performed at the International Art Week in Graz, Austria, and recorded chamber music CDs for the University of the Arts in Graz, Austria. 2008, he became a member of the Menuhin Music Performance Foundation, and 2009, he was awarded the first prize at the Munich Music and Culture Competition. 2015, he performed in a chamber music concert at the Bruckner Hall in Linz, Austria, and December of the same year, he performed with Maestro Elisabeth Leonskaja in the Piano Concerts. In December of the same year, he performed with Maestro Elisabeth Leonskaja in a concert commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet pianist Svjatoslav Richter. In 2016, he became a member of the Piano Committee of the Shanghai Musicians Association. After returning to China, he taught at the School of Music of Shanghai University, and won the Best Artistic Instructor Award of the Peacock Cup Vocal Competition in 2018. 2020, he was awarded the title of Expert Appointed by the Expert Review Group of the Ministry of Education's Joint Action on Community Arts Education Resource Sharing, ‘Don't Bow Down to Fate, Piano Battle for Beethoven Piano Pieces Public Welfare Activity’. In the same year, he published a solo album of piano sonatas in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth.
